At The Play Cabin, we create an inviting home from home environment that children can feel comfortable in.

Creating a warm, personable, home from home environment is easy when our team of highly qualified compassionate staff share the same passion for children as we do. In line with Safeguarding and welfare requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage, we ensure that children have sufficient individual attention to guarantee care and education of a high quality.

Our Team

While our team goes through a stringent process to ensure they are a fit for us, they continue their professional development throughout to maintain the highest possible standards of care for our children.

As well as this, we reduce breakdowns in communication and encourage diversity with multilingual speakers in English, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Slovakian,  Portuguese, Hungarian, French.

All our staff are passionate, qualified First Aid trained & DBS checked.

Our Volunteers and Students

We work with our local community to provide placement opportunities for volunteers and students who are completing childcare courses in order to nourish and inspire young talent. Please be aware that volunteers and students are never left to work with children unsupervised. You can rest assured that we implement stringent recruitment and vetting procedures to make sure we keep your children safe.

Safeguarding Statement

We are committed to building a 'culture of safety' in which children are protected from abuse and harm in all areas of our service delivery. Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and barred lists checks and other suitability checks are carried out for staff and volunteers prior to their post being confirmed, to ensure that no disqualified person or unsuitable person works at the setting or has access to the children.

All staff and volunteers are expected to disclose any convictions, cautions, court orders or reprimands and warnings which may affect their suitability to work with children (whether received before or during their employment with us).

If you have any questions or queries please get in touch with our friendly team.
